How does your Future look like?

Hi Readers,

Today I am going to help you with this article, because I know a lot of you all can relate to this. This is a question we ask ourselves, people ask us or sometimes Interviewers ask us. A question which breaks hell into our minds. I know it is hard to decide about your future, and what you want to be because we are in world where our society is shaping our thoughts, our parents are being a lot typical because they were brought up in a different generation. Being independent is out of question for a lot of people because of their family, if not their parents, we have a bunch called our relatives, who likes shoving their asses into anything and everything. Pardon my language.

I was in a phase where I wanted to decide where I saw myself in ten years. And this was perfectly during my teens, 14 to be exact. I had just finished 10th grade, and I had to choose if I wanted to pursue Computer Science which was something I have always been good at, or if I wanted to take arts and science, because I could do something that I am passionate about, which is take up Psychology, English or Hotel Management. Not many people know this about me, but I have been an enthusiast of food, and this I am sure anyone close to me would know. I love cooking, not just for me but for others too, because for me the way to someone’s heart is by food. When the tummy is happy, the heart is too. I had to decide, and it sure was a big decision.

Before I continue, let me break the suspense, I chose engineering. But I regret it not today, not yesterday, but every single day of my life. Not because, I didn’t enjoy it, but because I believe that this is not my passion and I would have felt happier doing something I loved and wanted to do. The reason I chose engineering was because, kids from the 90’s can relate to this. We grew up in a society where if someone took arts and science, they were kids choosing the easy way out and it hurt my ego. I was too proud to be one of those kids, but I learnt it the hard way that the society talks today about you, and tomorrow someone else is the topic.

My piece of advice from this article would be to anyone and everyone how is confused about making decisions about their lives to just close your eyes, take a deep breath and think what they want in life. I know sometimes money dominates passion. People do the other job just because it pays you more. Well in that case, luxury becomes your passion. It drives you to grow and grow. Choose whatever pleases you, but don’t let anyone else take that decision for you because they won’t stick around till you blame them for ruining your life. A life with questions starting with “what if?” is a life of misery. You can trust me on that.

If you think someone or something is holding you back from your passion, fight for it. Don’t just argue, fight for it. Take a stand and chase that passion anywhere it leads you to. That way, in the future you will have a big bright smile on your face every day when you wake up for work or whatever that you do.

Why I think that being an Agnostic Atheist is the better Option

Hi Readers,

Hope you are all doing well.

I have been going through a lot of criticism considering my views of being an Agnostic Atheist and I thought why shouldn't I properly explain my thought process so that, people can realize what I am trying to say, but before I start. This article is clearly only for the ones who are open to any kind of opinion. If any of you are here, who is very very serious about their religion or not open to listening to any kind of criticism about their religion, please switch to a different article. This one is not your ball game. I am not kidding.

Still Reading? Okay. Firstly, I would like to start by defining what an Agnostic Atheist is for anyone who doesn't know what it means. Agnostic atheism is a philosophical position that encompasses both atheism and agnosticism. Agnostic atheists are atheistic because they do not hold a belief in the existence of any deity and agnostic because they claim that the existence of a deity is either unknowable in principle or currently unknown in fact. I genuinely don't believe in the existence of a deity. I do not believe that once in my lifetime there were gods who fought with each other, who killed evil, who danced or who brought in the art of dance. I believe in the capability of the human mind. I believe that this is all brought up by our mind. We have created this. We have created this to bring about a difference between in the pursuit of trying to be the better or the classy person. We intentionally have tuned ourselves into a society where we want to separate ourselves from the others just because we believe that will make us better than them. Well, I beg to differ because that's not where I belong. I like to think that I am part of a world where everyone is one or the same. I do not like considering that any god is to be prayed to in the form of an idol, a deity or a person. If there is something that you want to look up to for all the times that you are lost, or down or want moral support, turn and look to the person who gave you life, your Parents. If you still think that's not an option, or if you think that our existence is a black box if we do not believe in the concept of god, keep reading forward.

Our existence is a black box, I agree, but we have all read about the evolution of mankind. Take a step forward and open your minds to thinking practically and logically for once. Do you really believe that some guy or some girl had super powers and they are our gods. Well, why aren't any of those people still here? Oh wait, because the Earth is suddenly become very toxic for them. I have heard such bull crap from so many people all of my life. Do not get confused or do not believe anything just because someone says it's right. I am not kidding. Don't listen to what I have to say to. Think for yourself. Think about the possibilities of every story that you have heard and relate it to the science that you have been learning or seeing all your life. Our human mind likes superiority, our human heart expects attention. Would it be too hard for it to come up with something to make it better than the others? Heck, we came up with zero, that's how we Indians are. I like to think that there is a superpower in this world, not because I think God is there, because I like to look up to someone or something, which keeps me pushing. I do not mind saying Allah, Amen, Jesus, Shiva, Satguru when I am scared, not because I believe in them, because I think that God is not in any form. It is only a superpower and I do not shame myself when I appreciate any other religion. I do not want to believe that any religion is better than the other. If you are one of those people, who think they are the better people, because you follow that religion, well you have a "bright"future ahead, my friend.

We are in a world of history, art, culture, tradition. I do not want to believe that some God brought all this to the world. I like to believe that our human mind is so powerful that it has brought all this into the world. From being monkeys that was surprised with a spark from the clashing of rocks, to where we are today. We have developed because our brains are so creative. Love who you are because of what you are, not because of the color, religion, race that you are from. And learn to love others for who they are. Do not for one second think that they are below you in any way because of any reason. You do not have any idea of who is struggling in what way in their lives. It is tough in this world, and to believe in God is something that keeps them peaceful. I would never say they are wrong in following God, but to make it your world, and losing precious time is something I would advice against.

If you think, I am making some sense. Don't follow me blindly. Think about it for sometime. Ponder on it over a walk. Then make your decision.

Until we meet again.

Feeling Lost

There are going to be moments in life, where you are going to question your existence. If you haven't face them yet, good for you. But be assured that it is normal to feel that way. I have always wondered why I was brought to the world, and what my purpose in life was. These questions loom in my head mainly when I am confused about what I want to become in life and if my decision will have any consequences. It was something I couldn't really talk to anyone about and had to clear my head myself. But soon enough, I realized that it was just fear of failing that I was having these thoughts. One thing that we need to understand is that, unless we are confident about the decisions we make and fulfill them with all our hearts, we are never going to fail. But if for a second also, you think that you are doing something just because someone pushed you to it, or because someone wanted for you to be that person, you will succeed but the probability of failing increases. You need to be happy about the work that you are going to do in the future. Do not attempt to do anything that might not bring the best out of you. Love who you are and you will stop feeling lost. Learn to go across such thoughts and don't let anything hold you back. Know that you are the best at being yourself.

It is not working out

Hi Readers,

I have missed writing and I got to say that it has been quite sometime since I felt this way. I have been through situations where the phrase "It's not working out" pops up a lot. Well, most of you must be used to hearing this during break ups. But I personally am sick and tired of this reason being used for ending relationships. For me, relationships are created because they work. In sometime, if you are openly able to say that it's not working out, then you need to do some self analysis. I am not saying breaking up is wrong, some relationships are doomed from the beginning. But atleast, find a reason for why you think you two are not compatible. And, one piece of simple advice, when a relationship doesn't move in the path you want it to, just for one second atleast, think of the person who is the other half of the relationship and realize that no matter what you decide right now, will also affect them. Take in the moment, and tell yourself that you are in it, because you love that person and hiccups are always going to be there. That should not stop you from being committed to the relationship. If you fall down once from a bicycle and vow to never ride it again, you will miss the adrenaline of bike riding. Be bold enough to go ahead, and make things work instead of waiting for them to work itself out.
